You know what? This has happened to me several times and yes I think something connects at a deeper level. I love this about our on-line lives.
Your spiritual retreat sounds wonderful, I often want to runaway to the ocean, somehow you feel more balanced there.

There must be 'waves' in the air... I came across other haikus with this theme and they all are so wonderful! I love yours too, the photo has different 'layers' and I love that!

I recently wrote that I hear God more clearly at the sea. Love, love your images in this haiku. I hope the sea is peaceful now that Irene has passed you by.
