I get it, (I think). No beaches here in my new surroundings unless you want to count the shoreline of man-made lake on the Rio Grande River a beach.
Nice photo.

Peace

All my beaches are stored within. And also in the treasures I keep from actually journeying out to them. When I close my eyes I can recall the " stills " I've taken with memory. In 1998 I was in Ft. Lauderdale with Julian. Two years before our first daughter was born. It was midday, I stood barefoot on the concrete wall that separates the beach from the street, it lights up at night too, and I faced the glaring sun with my eyes closed. It was a simple, healthy, happy moment and I was caught up in the pure bliss of it...not wanting it to end. I said to myself 'I don't ever want to forget this.' and I haven't. I pull that moment out of my hat whenever I need it. I'm sure I'll talk about it when I'm on my last legs. So yes, I can appreciate postcards from paradise. To each of us they mean something different, magical. xo

My beach is overcast with marine layer tonight but I'm enjoying yours.
