Someday you need to tell me all about Paris. That wonderful haiku teased me, but just isn't enough information. Great photo too!
Peace

Your haiku is hauntingly beautiful...are the tears about being alone..or are they tears of joy that you get to experience it at all? I love that it makes the reader think!

I have traveled alone before. It is not the same if you cannot share beauty with someone close to you and see their eyes looking at the same world you are looking upon. There are three hundred "hard stairs" from one level to another in the Eiffel tower. That is a lot of alone time, and since it is a symbol of love perhaps it is the French who most understand your tears? It is a lovely haiku. I am not certain that I have guessed your meaning dearheart but it was worth trying.
xoxo,
Noelle
