this is my beach
the beach from my childhood
and the beach from my now
in all manner of weather i love this place
i can sit & look at the sea for hours on end
i can sit & stare at the changing sky
i can look down & see my sandy toes
& pretend i am still young
my beach holds romantic memories
my beach shelters lonely times
my beach is wide with possiblities
from this porch
i have dreamed of foreign lands
on this beach my heart was broken & repaired,
time & time again
a beach to learn from & play on & to remember
fine friendships & true love grew here
i walked early mornings on this beach with my dad
{{ which seems like 100 years ago
or
maybe it was yesterday }}
i made castles in the sand with sister & cousins
and today i am sharing it with you.
~~~~~~~
here is hoping you are
swimming now in your own paradise.
your beach holds your life..so gently...in it's sand and waves.
Each moment in time held in your memory.
Thank you so for sharing your paradise.
the power of you,this..each beach embraced moment
astounds me.
brings me to the brink of tears and sets me free diving over the edge of a lifetime of love, witnesses by the sea.
i too grew up on a long coastline of salt brine beauty.
where my heart and footsteps linger still.
reading your heart song, following your bright footsteps
i
arrive,
to your heart,
and
mine.
i would love to meet you here in the gathering light.
Though I am vacationing in the mountains, I so look forward to returning to my beach on Tues night. Like you, the sea eternally is my center.
Dearest Shore Sister,
I feel you.
I know you.
I can taste these photos.
You have truly captured the beauty of the coastal waters and sandy shores we share together.
There is something so soul embracing and at the same time spirit freeing about the salt air and the limitless possibilities of the ocean's horizon. The memories you have shared here are your life's journey, a journey shared with loved one's, friends and a private consciousness slowly tranformed through the grace of time, travel and personal insight. Thank you for these beautiful images of your very special place.
xo,
Noelle
