Say...
Are you missing any of your robins?
Look around. Count your robins.
See if any of them are missing ...I ask
as I have a congregation of robins
hanging out right now in my front yard
and,
really,
I only recognize about 3 of them...
The ones feeding
near my recently freeze-damaged garden
are those plump,
red-breasted robins
you hear about so often.
The red-breast part
is more orange~y than crimson
but I feel certain you know the ones I mean ...I know what you are thinking...
Robins & Lighthouses
what*ever do they have in common? ""Where is the segue, somepinkflowers, where?""
Wait for it...
Wait for it...
Wait for it...Some days when I feel the need
to fly like a bird...
and
if I have no ticket for a ride on Delta
or on any of her sisters,
I climb my lighthouse
for a high-in-the-sky fix.Today
I am taking you with me.I know ...
surprise, surprise, surprise !!
First you have to climb a wee bit...
but the view is worth it,
trust me !!
There !!
Go ahead
and
snap ...
snap ...
snap away !!
That is the Atlantic Ocean out there!!
{{ PS--Have no worries about your robins
as my yard has Tons of Robin Snacks
+ what is snow ?? }}

you know i have been thinking of the arrival of robins. and golden finches. and all those seeds begging to be planted in warming soil.
but
i did
not realize
just
how
much i needed to walk outside myself and undress my heart
above the treeline.
ahhhhhhhhh
thank you!

That cheeky robin I thought for one moment he'd flown over the ocean to your back yard!
Wouldn't blame him if he had, the view is much better
and
you have that great big bird bath just over the fence ;~)xxx!
