i know what you are thinking
that somepinkflowers !!
is flaunted her florida seaside
to us once again
you looked at that conch shell
and thought Key West
or some such place
but you are wrong
you looked at those somepinkflowers
and know Those Babies
could be anywhere
but where
is this roof top ??
where the seashell did wait
and the somepinkflowers
that made me smile Large ??
i walked here on the roof
with this one
whilst this one sat downstairs
drawing in her fine art*journal
clearly clearly
now maybe you know
on an adventure last october
with this one + others
i came from florida
{{ a place flat as can be }}
up up 2000 meters above sea~level
to the center of Mexico
far far inland from 2 coast*lines
to find a seashell
waiting for me ...
when i picked up the shell
& held it to my ear
my Home was with me
right there
on the roof top.
Go figure !!

beautiful post!

How comforting for you, home from home! As a child I was fascinated to hear the sea inside the shell that lived in the old lady's garden over the road! Being landlocked the seaside always seemed to be such an enchanted place! Indeed it is! x
PS I do remember the post of your mother's hands, so tender, it really touched my heart.
Hugs x

I'm right there... tucked into that inner spiral... walking up and down and around around with you and all these wonderful others... it now seems a life time ago... but I breath it all back in with your words, flowers, and pictures. P.S. I'll take your ocean any time, any day, you flaunt it all you want, as it is just the best my dearest spfbb...

the most clever fetching wisdom filled
somepinkflowers in all the world.
your post is so fitting for so many mysterious reasons.
perhaps you should pick up that shell and listen a wee bit longer, i could just swear it is calling you back!!!

Ah! the delights of a magic shell.
